Lizzie Ball has a uniquely versatile musical career, which stems from her
strong affinity with and love of all good music. Her experience in all fields
of music has led to some highly original collaborations and performances. From
Colombian music performed exclusively by Classico Latino, her piano trio, to
classical solo appearances both chamber and concerto, mixed with jazz and latin
based concerts with Eclectica! in major venues across the UK, Europe and South
America, Lizzie is a truly consummate musician.

LIZZIE AT RONNIE SCOTTS
Lizzie had a great evening performing alongside the great jazz legend John Dankworth at Ronnie Scotts on May 1st in a tribute evening to the late great Dudley Moore. MESTIZO DUO TOUR OF CUBA
Lizzie's new chamber ensemble with guitarist and fellow Guildhall School of Music & Drama scholar Ahmed Dickinson Cardenas, will be touring Cuba at the end of March. This tour, made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Concordia Foundation, Guildhall School of Music and Drama and Havana Holdings, will include Mestizo recitals, and numerous masterclasses for the young musicians in Havana. Lizzie has been awarded the Making Music Harrison Professional Development Award for 2007/8 which includes a bursary and concert opportunities for the following season. Eclectica wow audiences and the critics in Dartington in September:

May to July 2007:
Lizzie has been travelling between Brazil, Argentina, and Chile experiencing a mixture of music, concerts, and new life and musical experiences.
May-June: Argentina-Buenos Aires and other provinces of Argentina. learning Spanish, learning more tango music, giving masterclasses in local schools.
June-July: Santiago de Chile. Trial for Guest Leader of Chilean Philharmonic Orchestra, performances of Wagner's Tristan and Isolde. Masterclasses with the young talents of Chile in Vina del Mar (another city).
